Comparison of different spectra at mid-rapidity.

TAPS

For 1 GeV (multiplicities taken from Schwalbs paper, Apart from Averbeck2003):

<Aprt> = 164+-20

  Ylab=0.52-0.84 extrapolated to 4pi isotropic
m_pi0/A_part 0.0051+/- 0.0005 0.023+/-0.002
3*m_pi 0.0153 +/- 0.0015 0.069 +/- 0.006 *

*1.36 energy 0.021 +/- 0.002

*its for comparison, same as from my previous table

So you can use 0.021+-0.002 after correction to the same size of rapidity window, which is now for TAPS +-0.15 in y_lab.

FOPI

At 1.20 GeV m_pi/Apart = 1.5*(5.6+10.0)/331 = 0.071

At 1.23 GeV * 1.03 = 0.031 +/- 0.003

1.5*(pi+ + pi-)/Apart = 1.5*(5.6+10.0)/331 = 0.0731

* 1.03 --> energy scaling from 1.2GeV --> 1.23GeV

Systematic error accoridng to info from Reisdorf mails we have 5% for pi- 8% for pi+.

0.74 is recalculation from mid-rapidity bin in normalized y0 to bin in y_cm

according to private communication with Willy Reisdorf the systematic error they have is 5% for pi- and 8% for pi+

HADES

Pion multiplicities integrated in the +/- 0.15 range around midrapidity (normalzied to Apart):

pim/Apart = 2.89/303 = 9.53e-3

pip/Apart = 1.51/303 = 4.98e-3

pi0/Apart = 0.5*(2.89+1.51)/303 = 7.26e-3

this gives us 3*pi = 0.0217 +/- 0.000868

Summary

Here one can find mid-rapidity pion multiplicity. the numbers are normalized to unit in y_lab.
