Trigger Distribution

  • RPC: One PECL->LVDS converter on each sector
  • Shower: Same distributor board as RPC
  • TOF: One PECL->LVDS distributor on each sector
  • MDC 3/4: Same as TOF distributor
  • MDC 1/2: One PECL->LVDS distributor on two sectors. Then LVDS connection to FanPW on each sector
  • RICH: own trigger distribution, four LVDS lines from CTS, own LVDS->LVDS distributor board
  • Start, Veto: Connected to TOF-Distributor to have the same jitter on Start and TOF
  • Wall: One PECL-> LVDS distributor

Total: 6 RPC/Shower, 2 MDC12, 6 TOF/MDC34, 1 Wall -> 15 PECL-LVDS-Boards needed;

48V power supply

In total 5 48V power supplies will be used:

  • 1 for all other TRBs (in MDC LV rack)

All 3 RPC/Shower power supplies can be installed in a rack next to the rear part. The other 2 in the rack with MDC power supplies.
