Operator Interfaces - Introduction

Introduction

Operator Interfaces are the EPICS clients which connect to the available process variables and show them in a graphical display.

At HADES two clients are in use

• MEDM: Motif Editor and Display Manager
• CSS control system, especially the SNS Product

Two use cases are covered:

• The general slow control operation: hades
• The Event Builder Control, not covered by this documentation, see Eventbuilder Documentation.
