Slow Control Wish and ToDo List

Introduction

This collection is intended to list open wishes and ToDos as a reminder and overview.
  • RECOMMENDED: Bugzilla at http://jspc22.x-matter.uni-frankfurt.de/rt can be used for reporting and following bugs/wishes
    • Component: EPICS
  • Alternatively: The Todo list should be only filled by slow control developers, while the whish list is open to everybody to fill in.

1 MDC OWADC1/dreamplugs Spikes values of several OWADC1 adc channels connected to the dreamplugs still show spikes which trigger artifical alarms
e.g. chamber p_deltas HAD:MDC:P1:S6:p_delta, or absolute pressure 		provide cleaned up process variable with spike suppression applied soon   started 31 May 2012  
2 RPC switches OW8S/OWDS - From time to time the LVPS does not react to a click (on or off), the only way to know if the click worked is looking to the main current of 48V (after power on / off the difference in current is around 4 Amps).
- The leds does not reflect the real status of the switch. At least in sector 4. You can take a look and play if you want. Right now all of them are switch off 		fix soon   started 31 May 2012
