• PID based on dE/dx: Comparison of the dE/dx distributions for the new Sim DST for GiBUU /UrQMD simulations and Exp DST for the different particle species selected by a mass cut (pi: 50 < m < 200 MeV, p: 850 < m < 1050 MeV, K: 450 < m < 550 MeV) in slices of momentum (with and without dE/dx corrections) to see if the shape is similar (until now: only integrated momentum spectra, with mass cut for the GiBUU and PID cut for UrQMD). Chii TODO: Plots for Exp DST and UrQMD DST, Alessandro TODO: Plots for GiBUU DST, new dEdx PID cuts with sigma selection method.
• Mass shift: Comparison for the mass vs. momentum behavior for Sim DST (GiBUU) and Exp DST. Alessandro TODO: Redo mass fits after dE/dx correction for new Sim and Exp and look at the mass shift directly. (Should one also correct beta and therefore the path length?)
• Pi-p elastic scattering: Multiple particle candidates due to overlapp region of RPC and TOF. How many candidates are origninating from this effect? Steffen TODO: Comparison Sim and Exp DST. Is it possible to have such multiple candidates in the simulation? Afterwards discussion how to extract the relative and global efficiency for pi-p elastics ( Normalization3.5.pdf).
• Pion Tracker: Joana TODO: ADC Calibration for the August data (3 -7.08.2015), test the final Hydra version of the pion tracker and make it available for the next DST generation (+ latest beam optics transport coeffiecents!).
• K0 analysis: Chii TODO: Check different cut on the dacay vertex to verify the dE/dx corrections (presentation of the results on the next HADES meeting: 28.07.2015).
• Phi analysis: Problem with the Simulation: no Phis in the GiBUU simulations, they already decayed at the event level. Hence the information about the "mother" of kaons is lost. Chii TODO: Produce new simulations.
